Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced this Monday, December 2 that the United States will provide $725 million (or €690 million) worth of new weapons to Ukraine. Outgoing President Joe Biden wishes to consolidate American aid to kyiv before giving way to Donald Trump in January at the White House.
Rocket ammunition, drones, mines…

Reuters reported last week that the Biden administration plans to provide equipment, primarily anti-tank weapons, to help Ukraine try to halt Russian advances on its territory. Recent aid of this type announced by the United States ranged from $125 million to $250 million.
The United States but also Germany
A few days before the United States, Germany also announced significant aid to Ukraine. During a visit to kyiv, Olaf Scholz reaffirmed his support for the country with military aid amounting to 650 million euros. “Germany will remain Ukraine's biggest supporter in Europe”, wrote the German chancellor on X.
German military aid to be delivered to Ukraine in December includes IRIS-T anti-aircraft missile systems, Leopard 1 tanks and armed drones. These deliveries are part of an aid program announced in October by Berlin, a government spokesperson also said.
