Grandvilliers: the City offers €30 in vouchers to seniors for Christmas

On Wednesday, November 27, a group of eight volunteers, elected officials and residents, put vouchers intended for the 766 seniors over 65 in Grandvilliers.

The municipality, which for several years has favored sending vouchers rather than a banquet or a packed basket, distributes two €15 vouchers to everyone.

A total of €30 per person, therefore, €5 more than last year. This represents a cost of nearly €23,000 for the City if all the vouchers are used. Which has never been the case so far.

Vouchers to be used until February 28 at Grandvilliers merchants upon presentation of an identity card. A way to please both seniors and local merchants for the end of year celebrations.

These vouchers were sent from this Monday, December 2.

If usually, seniors received the mayor's greeting card at the same time, this year it will be distributed inside the municipal magazine, accompanied by a photo taken during the launch of the city's illuminations this Friday December 6.
