The 14th edition of the Euro will be held next summer in Switzerland, pitting the sixteen best teams from the Old Continent against each other. Qualified for the competition, the Blues will appear in the first hat, but could still take a hit during the draw scheduled for December 16.
The horizon of the French team is becoming clearer. Qualified for Euro 2025 which will take place in Switzerland (July 2 to 27), the Blues know what to expect before the draw for the continental competition.
On Monday, December 16 at 6 p.m., at the Swiss Tech Convention Center in Lausanne (Switzerland), the sixteen officially qualified teams will be divided into four groups of four.
England, scarecrow of the hat 2
Laurent Bonadei's players will be protected by their status and will take their place in pot 1, alongside Switzerland, the host country, Spain and Germany. Title holders, England appear in hat 2 and will be the team to avoid for the Tricolores, who will also cross their fingers not to meet the Netherlands, Sweden or Norway in hat 3.
This Tuesday, the French fell without merit against the Spanish world champions (2-4), in Nice in a friendly. They will play two Nations League group matches next February, against Norway (21) then Iceland (25).
