Marc Gaudet, President of the Department of Loiret, will go to Boynes – near Pithiviers and not far from Orléans – in the morning of this Wednesday, December 4, 2024 for the laying of the first stone of the new school group.
A new structure dedicated to education
Currently, municipalities from Boynes, Givraines and Yèvre-la-Ville, have four schoolsdistributed across their territory. Structures that are nevertheless aging and no longer meet current needs in terms of premises and reception capacity.
The objective is therefore to group these establishments into a single school group, located in Boynes. It will include six elementary classes and three nursery classes, each accommodating up to 25 students.
The structure must also include additional spaces, complementary to the educational premises and two spaces respectively dedicated to catering and after-school reception.
The Department of Loiret has allocated an envelope of 1 121 067 € to the Community of Communes of Pithiverais with a view to bringing this project to fruition. The new nursery school should open in 2025.
Mobilization of the Department in favor of the territories
In its component 2, this system led by the Department of Loiret, provides support to Loirétain municipalities carrying out a structuring investment project whose influence extends beyond the municipal territory or groups of Loirétain communes carrying out a structuring project.
