The mayor of Crazy (Sarthe), Béatrice Latouche announced it in our columns on November 15, 2024. Today, time for the presentation of the new general practitioner du Lude, which will begin its consultations on Monday December 2, 2024.

At 54, the practitioner joins Lude to strengthen an already existing staff of four private doctors, not all of whom are full-time.

A new doctor will consult from December 2, 2024 in Lude

“We have been working on its installation for a year. Over all this time, we have managed to remove the obstacles so that she can finally practice here,” rejoices the elected official.

The doctor Pierre has lived in Sarthe for three years and will therefore begin his liberal profession in Lude.

“I have been a doctor since 2001. I worked for a long time in a specialized center like addiction doctorfor a national association, to Montauban. I am very used to working in a team,” she says.

The administrative pitfall

Originally from Lorraine, the practitioner arrived in Sarthe as part of a family reunion.

As with most doctors' facilities, Dr. Pierre's was not easy.

“We had to fight with the administration so that it could have all the authorizations to practice. Each time, it comes down to a piece of paper,” says Béatrice Latouche, faced with the inertia of certain administrations.

This is in fact the first time that Doctor Pierre will work as a freelancer, after having been an employee of an association. “I had to refresh my skills for nine months in Bordeaux, and today I am once again registered with theNational Order of Physicians », Announces the practitioner.

Consultation by appointment

At Lude, Elisabeth Pierre will receive her patients in an office at 4, rue des Mortes-oeuvres (former Occupational Medicine premises) from December 2: Monday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday (for emergencies only) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The other days, she will work for the Montjoie association in Le Mans as an addiction doctor.

An announced orthoptist

The City is now awaiting the arrival of another practitioner, Jessica Rabbit, orthoptistwho will also consult in the same building as Doctor Pierre. But here again, an administrative problem blocks his arrival.

These two practitioners will join the intercommunal health center du Lude whose file is currently being investigated. Doctor Pierre is already a member of the association of health professionals of Luché-Pringé and Lude, created two years ago.
