LThe WTA rankings published on Monday saw few changes. The world hierarchy is still dominated by the Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka ahead of the Polish Iga Swiatek, 2nd and the American Coco Gauff, 3rd, who completes the podium.

On the Belgian side, Greet Minnen gains two places to move up to 93rd place while Elise Mertens, 29, is still 34th in the world in singles, but she gains one place in doubles and returns to 8th position.

Marie Benoit (208th) is the 3rd Belgian. The two other players from the Billie Jean King Cup national team, Hanne Vandewinkel and Sofia Costoulas are advancing in the rankings. By three places for the first, now 232nd, and 15 for the second which we now find in 276th position. Yanina Wickmayer, 35, who will return to competition next year, is ranked 753rd (+6), she who was 12th in the world in 2010.

Kimmer Coppejans regains 15 places

At the end of a weekend which saw Italy crowned in the Davis Cup in the wake of its women's title in the Billie Jean King Cup, the ATP ranking saw very little change.

Jannik Sinner, who led the Transalpines to their third Davis Cup success, is world number 1 ahead of the German Alexander Zverev and the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, in order.

Rafael Nadal, who ended his career in Malaga, is ranked 155th in the world in this ATP ranking published on Monday.

On the Belgian side, the changes concern Kimmer Coppejans who gains 15 ranks. The 30-year-old from Ostend goes back to 422nd place, having been in the top 100 (97th) in 2015, and Emilien Demanet has moved up 13 positions. The 19-year-old from Namur is 590th, his best career ranking.

David Goffin, 52nd, and Zizou Bergs, 61st, are the two Belgians in the top 100. Followed by Raphael Collignon (ATP 122) and Alexander Blockx (ATP 205).

In doubles, Sander Gillé, 33, and Joran Vliegen, 31, who defeated their pair in doubles and change partners next year, are stuck in their 31st position.
