Matéo Lagadic, at just 23 years old, opened his bakery, pastry shop, chocolate shop and ice cream parlor in Morgat in March. Monday, November 18, he went to to collect a check for €10,000, a Lesaffre grant, his yeast supplier. But before having the check in hand, Matéo Lagadic had to go through the three stages of this competition reserved for young entrepreneurs: he first had to be selected from 500 applications.

“I had to present my CV, a cover letter, my store and my background”, he explains. Only 30 files were retained. For the second stage, ten mystery shoppers passed through the doors of the store. “I was not aware at allreveals the young entrepreneur, the last mystery shopper told me that I was selected for the third stage. »

There were only fifteen left to participate orally, in , before a jury where the ability to manage a team, a business and production, and the career path of each person were noted. The ten selected received a check for €10,000, three months of free yeast, and training in baking, for entrepreneurs and in sales for their teams. Four employees will benefit from it at Matéo Lagadic. During the ceremony in Lille, he met his godfather who will support him for a year.
