Anouchka Delon: Who is the discreet man who shares her life?
The rest after the ad
The photo is worthy of a fairy tale. A white sand beach, a setting sun beginning to skim the horizon and, in the foreground, a couple hugging each other tightlyall smiles in front of the lens. This idyllic shot is on the cover of Paris Match (number 3635) at the beginning of 2019. The lovebirds posing for posterity, Anouchka Delon and the one who is now her husband for three years, but her darling for more than 10, Julien Dereims.
After meeting at the Simon course (famous actor training school), the lovers never left each other. Becoming an actress, obvious for Anouchka Delon who declared to Paris Match : “If I had thought it was easy, I wouldn't have needed the Simon Course. I would have arrived with my big clogs saying: ‘I am Alain Delon's daughter, I want to become an actress !’ I knew very quickly that this job was made for me. And I just dream of working with people who trust me, sharing my passion and putting myself in danger too.” Working and living with artists since Julien Dereims is an actor.
Enter Anouchka Delon, who celebrates his 34th birthday this November 25and Julien Dereims, everything happened very quickly. After an artistic love at first sight, quickly giving way to more romantic feelings, the two artists did not slow down in their momentum, finding many points in common outside of the professional environment. “We didn’t grow up in Parisunderlined Julien Dereims at Paris Match. Anouchka, in the Dutch countryside, –where his mother Rosalie van Breemen is from– and me, in the South, in Cannes. We are provincials. There is Paris and the rest of France. A hundred years ago, it was already like that. And in a hundred years, it will be the same thing. But I have the impression that our generation, that of thirty-somethings, is attached to simpler things, returning to more family values.”
Julien Dereims, multi-faceted actor on stage and in the cinema
Julien Dereims first became known to the general public on stage. In 2007, he started in Pirate of the Caribbean of the company The sound of our footsteps at the Opéra Bastille in Paris. The pieces will follow Panic at the St Georges theater (Paris – 2012) or even Free are the butterflies at the Rive Gauche Theater (Paris – 2017). He also played with Anouchka and her father Alain in An ordinary day by Eric Assous during a French tour. “I didn't know who shee (Anouchka Editor’s note) was”did he feel obliged to plead with Gala during the promotion of the piece. He then added: “Love did the rest. I don't dream of fame. This job is difficult, but I love it. I am surrounded by actors, neither famous nor rich, and happy.”
In the cinema, Julien appears in At the end of the tale by Agnès Jaoui (2012), 3 days to kill de McG (2014), Any resemblance by Michel Denisot (2018) or even Hi, how are you by Clemy Clark (2021). The series Versailles broadcast on Canal+ completes this list on the young man's artistic CV.
“Julien, this is my reason for living“, says Anouchka Delon
If professionally, the horizon remains cloudless for Julien Dereims, the personal side has sometimes darkened. In 2019, in the columns of Paris Matchthe couple he forms with Anouchka Delon announced very sad news. “Before the summer, I got pregnant and we were happy, announced Alain Delon's daughter. But I lost the baby in August, at three months old. Life has decided that, but it's unfair.” February 2020 offers a second chance to lovers. Another baby comes into their lives. The announcement of the birth of the little wonder will be made almost a month after her arrival, very discreetly on Anouchka Delon's Instagram feed. A photo, under which the young mother gives the first name chosen for the Cheetah's grandson: Lino. A birth which will therefore be followed by a wedding in May 2021 after which the newlyweds treated themselves to a grandiose honeymoon.
Return to this dream beach on the cover of Paris Match. Above another photo of the couple having fun in front of the weekly's lens, Alain-Fabien Delon's sister declared outright: “Julien, this is my reason for living.”
