The venerable English brand Aston Martin was founded in 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. Its history will always be more or less chaotic and will have different investors before the Second World War. In the aftermath of the conflict, in 1947 to be precise, its new rescuer will be David Brown, who made his fortune in the industry. It is from him that the initials DB come. Under his leadership, the company gained worldwide recognition, notably thanks to its participation in a small film franchise: James Bond 007. Brown sold his shares in 1972 but the DB logo is still used today. A look back at some legendary cars.
