Gas prices will (again) increase

In July, average natural gas priceswill increase by 11.7% compared to those of June. The reason for this increase? “This change is mainly due to the application of the new tariff for natural gas distribution networks and the increase in wholesale prices for natural gas,” explains the website service-public.fr. The average level of the benchmark price for the sale of natural gas will be €129.2/MWh including tax.

The caps must be attached to the bottles

If many brands had already taken the plunge, the instructions – the directive on single-use plastics was adopted in 2019 – will be obligatory from July 3t: the caps must be attached to the bodies of the plastic bottles.

The calculation of the DPE is evolving

As of July 1, the method for calculating the Energy Performance Diagnostic (EPD) is changing so that small areas are not penalized. Indeed, “statistics show that housing with a surface area of less than 40 m² is less well classified than the average in terms of DPE”, according to the Ministry of Ecological Transition, which explains that “this will allow 140,000 homes of less than 40 m² to move out of the energy sieve category (F or G labels), which represents more than 15% of these surfaces. »

From July 1, it will be possible to download the certificate replacing the first page of your DPE for possible sale or rental.

Some high school students will receive 500 euros from the State

Scholarship high school students who have accepted at least one wish outside their academy on Parcoursup will receive new aid of 500 euros. To obtain this mobility assistance, you will have to apply from July 3, 2024.

Those under 21 will benefit from a new placement proposal

The climate future savings plan (PEAC) will allow you to make your money grow while participating in financing the energy transition. Open to those under 21, it is to be used to finance “low carbon” projects under the green industry law, adopted last October.

The amount of payments is limited to 22,950 euros and will be automatically closed on the holder’s thirtieth birthday. More profitable than a Livret A, it could interest many young people.
