Deinze bows heavily… for his last match?

Will there be a continuation within the KMSK Deinze football club? For now, no one knows the answer. Today, the players from East Flanders faced the Francs Borains and did well. But ultimately, the Tigers are in a very bad situation, both on a sporting and non-sporting level.

After a series of rows in the media, Deinze announced last night that he would finally play today. It was a long wait to find out which team this would happen with. After all, many players could almost apply for their freedom card (due to unpaid wages) and would presumably not want to take risks with possible injuries.

Admirable young people

Deinze’s team was therefore made up of players aged 20 or less, which was obviously felt on the pitch. The Francs Borains (who had not won for more than two months) certainly did not play impressive football, but they returned to the locker room with a 0-1 lead, thanks to Lavie.

Also in the second half, the youngsters showed their skin admirably well. Thanks to new goals from Prunier and Atil, the score was ultimately “only” 0-3.

It now remains to be seen what next week will bring to the club and its “investor” AAD. After all, they have been making promises for weeks but, so far, they are not keeping any of them.
