The evening’s episode of En direct de l’univers was dedicated to the prolific actor David Savard, who works in a host of projects, each more popular than the last.
As one might expect, the musical festivities allowed several guests and members of David’s family to come and surprise him on stage of the show, by singing him a song or two. Moreover, although they did not sing, the actor’s two sons, Ludovic and Milan, born from a previous union with Catherine Proulx-Lemay, could be seen in the room, during the incomparable “Louxor j’adore”, sung by actor Daniel Parent.

How they have grown! Note also that no member of the public was among the spectators in the studio. Only David’s friends were there… And there were many who wanted to pay tribute to him with their presence!
A little later during the episode, David Savard’s good friend, Rémi-Pierre Paquin, also made an appearance, this time singing. Joined by Mathieu Savard, the brother of the evening’s headliner, the duo sang the very catchy “No need to sing”. While the words of the success of another era unleashed the pleasure of the guest, other members of the family of David and Rémi-Pierre invited themselves on stage, giving rise to a real family party.
On social networks, many viewers highlighted the beauty of the moment:
- « Just perfect! Two siblings united in joy and music. My eyelids were moistened. »
- « I really like seeing a family reunited, I haven’t experienced congratulations and we really like to follow you on Saturday »
- « Tonight, one of the best, if not the… What an atmosphere! Brings back beautiful memories of youth! »
