Emergency services intervened this Sunday, November 24, 2024 around 7:20 a.m. for a fire in a house located rue des Ajoncs, in Riantec (Morbihan). The fire apparently started in the living room when seven young people, all around 18 years old, were present on site, in the absence of their parents.

The outcome could have been dramatic. Emergency services intervened this Sunday, November 24, 2024 around 7:20 a.m. for a fire in a house located rue des Ajoncs, in Riantec (Morbihan). The fire apparently started in the living room when seven young people, all around 18 years old, were present on site, in the absence of their parents. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Only one young adult was transported to Scorff hospital, in Lorient, for check-ups, after colliding in the rush.

An investigation has been opened
The fire caused significant material damage, heavily damaging the ground floor of the home. Firefighters from the Port-Louis, Riantec, Plouhinec and Lorient barracks were mobilized on site. As well as the gendarmerie, which opened an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the fire.
