26 homes deprived of gas after a trash fire in Roches-de-Condrieu, residents evacuated

A trash fire broke out this Friday evening in Roches-de-Condrieu. It spread to the gas meter of a home, depriving 26 homes of gas. Around twenty people were evacuated. There is still no gas this Saturday morning. An investigation is underway.

26 homes were deprived of gas due to a trash fire, this Friday, November 22 in the evening, in the town of Roches-de-Condrieu, BFM learned from the Isère firefighters.

The events took place this Friday evening around 10 p.m. A trash fire broke out on rue des Mariniers. This quickly spread to the gas meter of a house located in the street.

Still no gas

About ten minutes later, around twenty people were evacuated by firefighters. Two water lances were deployed. No people were injured.

This Saturday morning, homes are still without gas. According to our information, it should only be returned in the evening.

An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the outbreak of the trash fire.
