In September 2020, the body of a 28-year-old man was found lifeless in the early morning, on the sidewalk, in front of a residence in the Belle-Vue district, in Carpiquet. He had succumbed to three shotgun blasts.

New spouse accused of killing former one

Quickly, a couple of residents of the building were arrested. The victim was the woman’s ex-partner. She was exonerated but her new partner had been indicted for murder and placed in pre-trial detention. At the time, he explained that his partner’s ex-partner had bothered them that evening.

A former boxer already known to the courts

Known to the justice system since his youngest age, this former boxer will be judged before the Calvados Assize Courtfrom Monday, July 1, 2024, for “murder in a state of criminal recidivism”. He had already been convicted by the juvenile Assize Court for rape. The trial is scheduled to last three days.

As the debate progresses, the jurors will have to shed light on the precise circumstances of this crime.
