a Fennec on his way to Tizi to sign for JSK

Algeria Foot – According to Algerian journalist Moumen Ait Kaci, Algerian national team and Wydad Athletic Club player Ilyes Chetti is expected in Tizi Ouzou to formalize his transfer to JS Kabylie. Chetti, who played a crucial role in the Fennecs’ victory at the 2021 Arab Cup in Qatar, seems ready to strengthen the ranks of JSK.

Ilyes Chetti, known for his defensive skills and versatility on the pitch, would bring valuable experience to the Kabyle team. His transfer could mark an important turning point for JSK, which is looking to strengthen its squad ahead of upcoming national and continental competitions.

At the same time, another Algerian international, Mehdi Tahrat, could also join the ranks of the JSK, according to the same source. Indeed, Tahrat’s contract with ESTAC Troyes ends on June 30. Former defender of the Algerian team, Tahrat would bring additional defensive solidity to the team. His experience in Ligue 1 and his solid performances as a central defender would be a major asset for the Kabyle club.

These two potential signings show JS Kabylie’s ambition to once again become a dominant force in Algerian football. By attracting established talents like Chetti and Tahrat, the club hopes to not only improve its performance on the pitch, but also inspire younger players in the region and reinforce its historic status in African football.
