The Côte-d'Orienne delegation is led by the president of the AMF 21 Ludovic Rochette who spoke with the president of the AMF David Lisnard. Ludovic Rochette considers that “the municipal block has become essential”.
Press release from the Association of Mayors of Côte-d’Or of November 20, 2024:
A delegation of 103 mayors and intercommunal presidents from Côte-d'Or, led by Ludovic ROCHETTE, President of AMF 21, is currently participating in the 106th Congress of Mayors in Paris.
The tone of the Congress “The commune… Fortunately! » reminds us that the municipal block has become essential. The 2020-2026 mandate, which began with the health crisis, then with the energy crisis, proved the effectiveness of the proximity level, in particular thanks to the 698 municipalities of the Côte-d'Or.
For 3 days, elected officials meet at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Center and discuss major current issues: security, climate change and even medical presence. A particular focus is also devoted to Rurality.
But the context of the debates in Parliament on the Finance Bill particularly enlivens this Congress. The elected officials present are awaiting the remarks of the Prime Minister, Michel Barnier, who will close this 106th Congress.
The AMF 21 will meet all its members, as well as all elected officials and community services in the department, on December 12 and 13, in Dijon, for the Salon des Maires de la Côte-d 'Gold.
“The rural commune constitutes the foundation of France,” said Gérard Larcher at the congress of the Association of Rural Mayors of France
