Galaxy Flip 6 and Fold 6 to receive security update in Korea

In November 2024, Samsung released a major security update for its Galaxy Flip 6 and Galaxy Fold 6 foldable smartphones in South Korea.

This update is part of the regular security improvements that users are accustomed to, with previous Galaxy Flip 4 and Fold 4 models receiving updates even earlier.

The update for the Galaxy Flip 6 has firmware version F741NKSU2AXK8, and for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 it is F956NKSU2AXK8. They include important security and privacy improvements, but do not add new features or performance improvements.

The Flip 6 update weighs over 1 GB and the Fold 6 update weighs over 1.2 GB, making them quite large updates.

Users in South Korea can check if the update is available via Settings, Software Update, Download and Install.
