To celebrate National Day 2024, the town of Evry-Courcouronnes is unveiling a rich and beautiful program of activities this Saturday July 13, 2024. On the menu? Republican meeting, popular ball and fireworks on the theme of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
For all French people, the festivities of July 14th are an event not to be missed under any circumstances. Military parade, fireworks, popular ball, all means are good to celebrate this very special day. As you certainly know, July 14 is a date marked by the memory of the capture of the Bastille, in 1789, symbol of the end of the absolute monarchy. July 14 is also Federation Day, in 1790, which marks the union of the French nation.
This very symbolic date for the French Republic is therefore commemorated every year, throughout the country, with popular animations and friendly, for the whole family.
The city ofEvry-Courcouronnes is part of the municipalities celebrating the essential National Holiday. For this 2024 edition, the city of the department ofEssonne pulls out all the stops by offering, as every year, a rich program. The city will meet us on Saturday July 13, 2024 to Coquibus Boulevard, then to Dame du Lac Park.
On the program for the 2024 National Day in Évry-Courcouronnes:
- 4 p.m. – Boulevard des Coquibus
A “republican meeting” will be an opportunity to discover vehicles from the security, rescue and army forces. A medal ceremony, children’s speeches and a friendly time around a cocktail will take place in the wedding room of the Town Hall. - 8 p.m. – Lady of the Lake Park
Join us for a Dyslexic Swing concert from 8pm to 9:30pm, then the grand ball from 8pm to 1am. Associations and food trucks will be there to provide food and refreshments. - 11 p.m. – Lady of the Lake Park
This year, the traditional fireworks display is themed around the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
