In Concarneau, the meeting has become a must for stand-up fans: every last Thursday of the month, the association “Daylire Comedy club” takes the stage of the Le Bek bar, at the Brasserie de Bretagne, to offer a set of four comedians. Launched in March 2024, the animation “meets great success every time”, relishes Donatien de Procé, head of the site. “For our resumption in October, we had a lot of new people in addition to our regulars who return every evening,” reports the manager, who has around a hundred seats on site. “But it is strongly recommended to book before coming,” he specifies. The next set will take place on November 28 with Victor Vauchez, Ana Godefroy, Kévin Ozgoz and Tristan Pierre, at 8:30 p.m. Entrance is €12. Reservation on the billetweb website.

  • 2 At La Caserne, a brand new event dedicated to humor

For more than ten years, the Concarneau theatrical improvisation troupe, Impro Libre, has enlivened the Blue City and its surroundings by organizing numerous actions that place laughter at the top of the bill. This Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 8:30 p.m., the actors will be at the Bar du Passage, in Concarneau, for a “large glass of improv”. Earlier, an introductory course in improvisation will be organized from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Chap'L, in Ville Close (registration by email: [email protected]). Obviously, the troupe is present all year round in the region, including a great date at the Cac planned for April 26, 2025. The actors are also at the Le Bek bar, every first Friday of the month, for an evening of improvisation. The complete Impro Libre agenda can be found on its Facebook and Instagram pages.

At the Cac de Concarneau, humor is an integral part of the cultural programming of the place, just like music and theater. In 2024-2025, the Center for Arts and Culture will thus receive several artists, despite the sudden disappearance, this fall, of the “Concarn'fait sa comedy” festival which nevertheless contributed to the finest hours of humor in the City blue. Fans of stage comedy can rest assured: at the Cac, they will be able to discover the latest shows by Alex Vizorek on December 15, 2024 (sold out), Thomas Marty on March 27 or even Pierre-Emmanuel Barré on April 9, 2025. On these last two dates, places are still available.
