The fair is growing

Despite the gloomy context and the discontent of farmers and breeders who are still waiting for concrete solutions to their demands, the La Nocle-Maulaix competition fair last Saturday clarified the picture. It allowed to restore a little balm to the hearts of the fifteen breeders who came to present magnificent animals.

“We still have passionate breeders”

The president of the fair committee, Karelle Pautet, shows her satisfaction. “The fair is growing. In addition to the loyal breeders who are returning, we have three new young people and the JA, like every year, offered a good meal at lunchtime, in a friendly atmosphere. »

For her, this competition is a great showcase to boost trade. “I know there are quite a few deals going on today, that’s good. Despite the unfavorable health context, which generates additional costs (vaccine and others), fortunately we still have passionate breeders. » We must, she says, “keep our morale up, we need agriculture and all its components, to show that the profession is essential”.
