We are reassured! “Emily in Paris” will remain in France for its season 5, confirms the very well-informed American site Variety. The Netflix series will also see the return of one of the main actors.
The question arose after the end of season 4 of Emily in Paris which saw our heroine settle down in Rome. But we finally have the answer. Variety reveals that filming for season 5 will take place in Paris. Well, partly.
Lily Collins and part of the team will shoot a few scenes in Rome, where the young woman has settled to manage the Italian wing of Sylvie Grateau's company and coo in the arms of her Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini). But that shouldn't last very long.
A logical continuation since the series is supposed to follow the adventures of the American in France and all her relatives are still in Paris. Starting with Gabriel. Variety announces the return of Lucas Bravo in the role of the talented chef, even though the actor had indicated his desire to stop there.
Disappointed by the writing of his character, he especially criticized the Netflix production for its lack of creative freedom.
