Due to a strike at the SNCF, train traffic in France will be disrupted from this Wednesday evening and until Friday November 22 in the morning, the CFL indicated this Wednesday morning in a press release.
What will be the consequences for rail traffic in Luxembourg? According to the Luxembourg operator, the strike on the French side should have minimal repercussions here.
At this stage, no impact is expected on TER trains traveling on the Lorraine route (towards Thionville–Metz/Nancy). TGV traffic departing and arriving at Luxembourg station should also run normally.
On the other hand, no trains will run between Rodange and Longwy on Thursday, specify the CFL. Trains on the Luxembourg – Dippach-Reckange – Rodange – Longwy line will have their terminus and departure in Rodange. The evolution of the train traffic situation can be consulted here.
