The lifeless body of a man was discovered on May 19, 2024 on a disused site in Noyon (Oise) by young people in the middle of an “urbex” (urban exploration) session. In this case, a young homeless couple was indicted on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, according to theAFP.
The victim killed by a bladed weapon?
The 21-year-old man and his 19-year-old girlfriend were arrested on Monday June 24, 2024 in Compiègne and are accused of murder, the prosecution said. They were placed in pre-trial detention. Both recognized “their responsibility in the death of the victim”according to the public prosecutor of Senlis, Loïc Abrial.
The investigation into these facts was opened in mid-May after the discovery of the body. According to The Picard Courier the urbex enthusiasts, a practice that involves exploring abandoned urban areas, are Dutch tourists. The autopsy revealed injuries on the victim’s body “compatible with blows given by a bladed weapon”according to the prosecution.
