Like every year for more than 20 years, several million households will soon receive the Christmas bonus. “The transfer will be made on Friday December 13. Beneficiaries will see it appear on their bank account between December 14 and 16,” revealed this Monday to our colleagues at West France Paul Christophe, Minister of Solidarity, Autonomy and Equality between women and men.
As we indicated a few days ago, the amounts will remain the same as last year. For example, a single person without children will receive 152.45 euros. If she has a dependent child, she will receive 308.72 euros. A couple without children will benefit from a bonus of 228.68 euros or 274.41 euros if they have a child.
Not taxable
Payment of this aid is automatic after verification of access conditions. Data subjects do not need to request this. Beneficiaries of active solidarity income (RSA), specific solidarity allowance (ASS) and retirement equivalent allowance (AER) will be able to receive it. It is also possible to claim it if you receive the flat-rate bonus for returning to work, the France Travail training remuneration (RFFT), the remuneration of professional training trainees or the public internship remuneration.
Only one bonus will be paid for each household. Please note that the Christmas bonus is not taxable. It should therefore not be mentioned on the annual income tax return. By 2023, 2.3 million households had received this boost.
