Isle-en-Dodon. Multi-sport day: an Olympiad for all

A few days before the Olympic Games in Paris, L’Isle-en-Dodon is hosting ITS multi-sport day with an intercultural dimension: Terre de Jeu(x). An event driven by Sportis and co-hosted by villagers and people in exile involved in the Sport Terre d’Accueil project. On the program: fitness trail, exhibition, Games Village), swimming pool evening (season opening!), large table and outdoor screening. Since the end of 2019, Isle-en-Dodon has hosted 25 multi-sport and intercultural stays with the support of Caf 31, the support of the municipality and the contribution of a dozen “host families”. June 29 is organized to celebrate 5 years of Sport Terre d’Accueil and… the arrival of the Games! Everyone can enjoy what they want during these days of completely free activities without pre-registration, accessible from 8 years old. Throughout the day, the village’s new sports facilities will be highlighted (Fitness area, City stadium, Pumptrack) as well as the Holiday Village and the swimming pool. The new children’s games and the Pumptrack are accessible from 3 years old, and the pool party allows access to swimming. The tavern operates all day, with evening meals (€7, excluding drinks).

Olympic colors: More than 15 games and sports (including 10 Olympic events) are on the program: health-fitness course, baseball, 3×3 basketball, cross country, golf, long jump, volleyball, pétanque, table tennis, Oly ( traditional African game), board games, boxing, football, etc. The pool will allow you to participate in a swimming relay and a game of water polo from 5 p.m. before the pool opens to everyone for swimming (6 p.m.-9:30 p.m.). Each participant will join one color of the Olympic flag to team up and challenge the other colors whenever they want, on the sports and games they love, before a festive finale at 9 p.m. In the evening, the tavern offers a “world platter” to sportsmen and their friends. The Grande Table is a tradition at Sportis. It will be complemented by a projection of the best images of the day and of the entire project since 2019, under the stars at nightfall. Terre de Jeu(x), a great way to enter summer together!
