Céline Dion is the youngest daughter of Thérèse and Adhémar Dion, a birth which ended a family of 14 children. Two years his junior, Liette Dion evolved in the artistic world and worked at the Maman Dion Foundation. Her little brother Michel Dion has evolved in the world of music as manager of his sister’s concerts. However, he retired in 2021. After the birth of Michel, it was the turn of Louise and Jacques to complete the family portrait. The latter, however, did not make themselves known and remained discreet in the face of Céline’s celebrity. Daniel Dion, the next in the family, will experience a more tragic fate, disappearing following cancer. Ghislaine Dion, ninth in the family, took center stage with Celine Dion as one of her backing vocalists. She – for her part – fought against two cancers.
Linda, her 65-year-old older sister, decided to move in alongside her sister Céline to support her in her fight. In the order of births in the Dion family, she will be followed by Manon Dion, Céline Dion’s hairdresser during her tours. The latter is the owner of a chain of restaurants in Canada as Claudette explained in her interview with “7 Jours” in 2021.
