The festivities planned for this Friday, June 28 and this Saturday, June 29 are returning to a completely renovated Place Nervienne. Here is the program for this 2024 edition.

Friday

Friday, the festivities will begin at 5 p.m. with an evening dedicated to conviviality. There will indeed be a citizens’ banquet, activities for children and a musical program with artists from the region.

The banquet is an opportunity to share an aperitif, a grill or even small dishes from the food trucks present in the light of countless lanterns. Tables and barbecues are available free of charge. Children will enjoy inflatable castles and face painting. They can paint, create a lantern or try out circus-themed activities. As for concerts, the public will be able to listen to Monsieur Olivier, Lana Cruise, Giolion, Clemix, Flo/ki & The Crispies and Fixxerstuff.

The Midsummer bonfires were held this Saturday.

At 9:30 p.m., meet at Roosevelt Square for the sale of torches and the show featuring hundreds of actors, dancers and musicians. This year, the public is invited to let their dreams fly by writing a wish which will then be thrown into the fire and released into the air. At the end of the show, participants will be able to light their torch. The traditional torchlight march, to the sounds of percussion, will begin, with the pyre as the arrival point. It was at 11:15 p.m. that the torchbearers gathered and lit the pyre. At 11:45 p.m., Pyronix Production will be present for a light and fire show. It will mark the end of the festivities.
