Hostage family HQ to release new kidnapping video on October 7

The hostage family headquarters announced that it would release a video of the kidnapping of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Elia Cohen and Or Levi this evening (Monday) at 7 p.m.
The decision to publish this video was taken after Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said last night during his interview on Israeli channel Now14 that he was ready for a “partial” agreement with Hamas. This statement was interpreted as an absence of desire on the part of the Prime Minister to release all the hostages. The latter published a press release following the interview explaining that it was Hamas which refused to release all the hostages without a total end to the war and a withdrawal of the IDF from the Gaza Strip, which the Prime Minister denied.

This clarification did not prevent headlines in the Israeli press and even Hamas seized the opportunity and declared: “After the latest statements of the criminally guilty enemy Netanyahu, we confirm that: the Netanyahu’s real position is not to reach an agreement, to discard and waste time to continue the war of extermination. The world has understood that Netanyahu is the one pushing back and preventing the outcome of the agreement described in Biden’s speech and in the decision of the UN Security Council, and not Hamas.

The headquarters of the hostage families decided to publish the video of these kidnappings in order to demonstrate the responsibility of the government which, according to it, “abandoned” the civilians who were taken hostage, which would be confirmed by Netanyahu’s declaration to the television yesterday. ”This video is a serious indictment of continued abandonment for 262 days. Hersh, Elia and Or were taken alive and must return alive,” the hostage family HQ said.
