Among the most beautiful hidden terraces in Paris, we reveal the beautiful Garden of Eden at the Westin Paris Vendôme which is adorned with roses this year. This summer 2024, the discreet patio of the famous hotel in the 1st arrondissement, facing the Jardin des Tuileries, takes us to the edge of the Mediterranean with a bar and a menu that smells of the south.

Nestled in the historic courtyard of the establishment, this terrace is a true haven of peace, sheltered from prying eyes and the tumult of Paris. We head there to live a bucolic experience at the edge of the fountain, in a flowery atmosphere. This shaded terrace allows you to enjoy the sun as well as to take shelter since it is almost completely covered in the event of rain.
In collaboration with the great Domaines Gérard Bertrand, the Westin Paris – Vendôme offers a terrace in the colors of Côte des Roses, evoking a trip to the south of France.

This is why the Chief David Reneux, who has been working in the kitchen for 30 years now, offers us summer cuisine with Mediterranean accents. From delights to savor under the sun, we let ourselves be tempted by the sublime Semi-cooked tuna riviera and the beautiful Charentais melon flower with lemongrass and Iberian ham presented in a rosette. Fresh and finely made dishes that smell good of the south.
On the flat side, we set our sights on the Chicken Supreme from the Luteau farm and its hodgepodge of asparagus and for the good Red mullet bouillabaisseenhanced by its saffron aioli, enough to make you feel completely in the South.
Side dessertplace for the creations of the new Pastry Chef: Valentin Sevilla, freshly arrived from the Royal Monceau. This new chef intends to delight us with beautiful gourmet creations. We melt for the Hibiscus pavlova with strawberries and for the astonishing Moelleux apricot rosemary with vanilla cream from Madagascar.
On your right, within the very heart of the terrace, stands the bar where the Head Bartender Philippe Guidioffers us a map of wine cocktails like an ode to the rose. Fruit aromas and floral notes are there. Each cocktail, such as the Red Eden, the Sugar Moon or the Wildfire, pays homage to varieties of roses, for a refreshing bucolic stroll.
The Terrace of Roses is located at 3 rue de Castiglione, in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. Reservations can be made online. The price of starters starts at €21, main courses at €27, and desserts at €14. The terrace is open from May 22 to the beginning of October, from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and lunch is served from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and dinner from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
