The price per m3 of drinking water for the inhabitants of the 95 communes of Roumois and the Plateau du Neubourg served by the SERPN will increase in 2025. An increase of more than 2%, which places the tariff of this water union among the highest in the Eure. What makes us wonder about the price of water per m3 in Eure or Seine-Maritime.
Biggest gap in Eure
In the Eure, Menneval is the commune where the water rate per m3 is the most expensive (€3.69). That is 2€30 more than in the Hondouville Drinking Water Supply system (SAEP), an area in which residents pay the least.
The gap is lower in Seine-Maritime. Less than 2€ separates the rates of the Mixed Union of Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation (SMAEP) of Grigneuseville and Bellencombre (3.36), from that of the urban community of the Dieppoise region (1.49 €).
Seven territories below €2
Interesting point: if you are dependent on the Intercommunal Syndicate for Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation of the Dieppe North region, the rate is much higher (€3.23).
If the gap is smaller in Seine-Maritime, six “territories” in Eure have a price set below €2. Only one, that of the Urban Community of the Dieppe region, in Seine-Maritime.
Among the large cities in the region, Rouen is doing the best. The city of a hundred bell towers is among the lowest in the department (€2.21).
Le Havre, for its part, sees water prices per m3 on its territory vary between €2.17 and €2.51. Less than in Évreux with its €2.54.
