Élise Neugnot, a nurse near Dijon (Côte-d'Or), thinks she has found the identity of her attacker, who hit her in the head with a stone last July. According to her, it could be the “cinderblock killer”, suspected of the murder of a homeless man in Lyon and a series of similar attacks.
On July 25, Élise Neugnot, a nurse, was hit in the head by a stone as she was preparing to get into her car to return home, in the metropolitan area of Dijon (Côte-d'Or). “I thought everything was exploding around me, it really shook me”she remembers, specifying that she then “squatting on the ground”. It was there that she saw the stone with which she had just been attacked. The impact is still visible on the ground.
Élise tried to catch up with her attacker, who then hit her in the head before fleeing. The nurse is then transported to the hospital, where she will receive five stitches in her skull. A similar attack on a homeless man was recorded by CCTV cameras in Rotterdam (Netherlands) on November 5. “He goes to get a heavy object to smash his skull, I tell myself he did the same thing to me.”notes Élise, traumatized by this attack.
