If Flo Delavega is a little more discreet in the music world, Jeremy Frérot has never been so talked about. His album, Kid from the Sands released in Septemberhonors the region where he was born and grew up. It is also in the area of Nouvelle-Aquitaine that he made himself known with his friend at the time before trying his luck in TF1 telecrochet.

This is where I feel most comfortable and relaxed. It allows me to write songs” he said.
There, despite the large flow of tourists each year, it is nature that decides how the days unfold and no one has a choice: “It is a place where everything is governed by tide times. The pool empties and refills every six hours. Depending on that, we discover algae, sandbanks, animals, and it changes our mood too.” Jérémy Frérot also affirms that he can’t find what he likes anywhere else in the basin and that no other place on this earth is like it.

If he first left the region for Paris, when he became known, Jérémy Frérot then settled in the Marseille region at the start of his relationship with former swimmer Laure Manaudou. But very quickly, the couple migrated to the Landes for a return to the sources of Jérémy Frérot. On site, he was able to reconnect with his habits and his love of water, between two sunset walks on the beach and a few surfing sessions.
