On November 6, the body of a woman in her sixties was discovered in her apartment located in the Baud-Chardonnet district of Rennes. According to Ouest-France, his death dates back at least several weeks. It was a neighbor who was the first to raise the alarm. “For several days, a terrible smell of putrefaction had begun to emerge from the floors,” he said. “I ended up going to the apartment where the smell was coming from and I saw maggots coming out of the door.” Immediately alerted, the emergency services discovered a macabre scene. “The police told me that they have rarely seen such a decomposed body,” he said. The victim died of natural causes.
