In a notable move, former Limerick hurling sensation David Breen has secured the job of first-team physiotherapist at Liverpool FC.

The announcement follows a remarkable journey for the 50-year-old, who has amassed a wealth of experience working with several prestigious teams in both football and . His impressive CV includes spells with the Munster Rugby First Team, Manchester City FC Academy, Leinster Rugby Academy and Celtic FC Youth. Last month, Liverpool also welcomed another sporting talent, former Longford footballer Clare Farrell, as head of performance nutrition.

Breen’s playing career was marked by significant achievements, including winning a Munster SHC medal with Limerick in 2013 and winning an All-Ireland club SHC title with Na Piarsaigh in 2016. His Honors list also includes five county SHC medals and four Munster club SHC medals.

“Davy has taken on the role of first-team physiotherapist at Liverpool, and we are all immensely proud at Na Piarsaigh today,” his GAA club said in a statement.
