An XXL security system will be put in place for the France-Israel football match, which will be held at the Stade de France on the evening of Thursday, November 14. Guest of the franceinfo morning show, Sofiane Aboubeker, president of the Association of Security Professions, takes stock of the security of the meeting.
A Nations League football match will pit France against Israel on Thursday, November 14 at the Stade de France. A meeting placed under very high surveillance, following the violence against Israeli supporters that occurred last week in Amsterdam (Netherlands). 4,000 police officers and gendarmes and 1,600 security agents will be mobilized.
“We secured the Olympic Games, which were a major security event, so it is not a very complicated event to secure as such”says Sofiane Aboubeker, president of the Association of Security Professions, on franceinfo. “The real difficulty will be being able to deal with possible excesses outside the stadium”he believes.
“The risk is, either before, after, or during the match, to have excesses around the stadium or in the streets of Paris”explains Sofiane Aboubeker. “Intelligence services are working hard today to be able to prevent, anticipate, detect this behavior, particularly on different networks, (…) to arrest people even before the acts/disorders are committed”assures the president of the Association of Security Professions.
