On November 5, the Department of Gers inaugurated a mobile mammography unit, the « Mammobile »in order to strengthen access to breast cancer screening in rural areas.

After traveling the roads of Gers in November, the Mammobile returns to service in December to meet women aged 50 to 74. Launched by the Department and the Regional Health Agency (ARS), this initiative aims to reduce geographical obstacles to access to screening by traveling to small Gers municipalities.
