Argentinian police detectives have declared Liam Payne’s gold Rolex watch missing.

The late singer’s luxurious accessory was last seen in photos taken on the day of his death, but was not found after he fell to his death from a third-floor hotel balcony in Buenos Aires on October 16 .

“We know from the footage that has been analyzed that Payne was wearing a Rolex on the day of his death. He wore it on one of his wrists and had it at least two or three hours before his death. We looked for her in the room of the CasaSur hotel where he was staying and we did not find her,” a police officer in charge of the case told the Argentine newspaper “La Nacion”.

The watch, a gold Rolex, is believed to be worth around $45,000.

Law enforcement then searched the homes of several people known to have been dating Liam Payne on the day of his death. “By order of the court, the room was closed and no one could enter. The most urgent thing was to search for the watch in the homes of people with whom Payne had contact before his death. Another inspection will now be carried out to determine if it was left anywhere in the room,” the investigator told the media outlet.

“The watch was searched at the homes of those accused of the offenses of desertion and supplying and facilitating drugs, as well as the homes of the two prostitutes who were in the room with Payne on the afternoon of his death “, indicated a judicial source.
