The objective of this free event is above all “sharing”, she emphasizes, adding: “It is important to connect yoga to life, not just to practice in class, in the studio. »
Eleven people maximum
The city of Colmar has once again authorized classes to be held on the lawns of the Champ de Mars. Two other yoga teachers and a person specializing in mantra chanting responded to the invitation of Elisa Arciniegas, who had launched an appeal on Facebook. They will offer five fifty-minute sessions in the morning on Saturday June 22.
At 8:30 a.m., Elisa Arciniegas will kick off the day by offering eye yoga. A “more subtle work, which prepares for breathing exercises and meditation”. The session will be coupled with pranayama and meditation.
Mélanie Munch, “who learned this tradition in temples in Croatia,” explains Elisa Arciniegas, will take over at 9:30 a.m. for mantra chanting. Then, at 10:30 a.m., Émilie Vézy will offer a vinyasa session, a yoga “with a slightly more sustained pace. » This will be the only lesson of the morning where basics will be necessary.
At 11:30 a.m., time for a yoga dance class with Elisa Arciniegas. Accessible to all, children will be welcome there under parental supervision. » The morning will conclude at 12:30 p.m. with Bao Le Tuan and his iyengar yoga, a discipline “which emphasizes alignment”, specifies the teacher
A maximum of eleven people, upon registration, will be able to participate in each course. In the event of rain, the sessions will be moved to the yoga studio located at 132, route de Rouffach in Wettolsheim. Participants are invited to bring a mat, and for the pranayama class, a brick or other item for sitting.
