AO onshore wind: Neoen in the lead, prices still rising

Only 755 MW and 22 developers were selected during the eighth session of the public call for tenders known as “PPE 2” launched in 2021 for support for onshore wind power, while the available volume was 925 MW and the capacity offered by candidates when submitting applications at the beginning of September, of 1.04 GW.

The Energy Regulatory Commission has not yet published its analysis of this new phase of the competition to explain this attrition, while 1.06 GW had been allocated during the previous period. Note that 205 MW distributed across 12 projects concern parks already selected during previous auctions, as identified by the transaction consulting firm Envinergy which analyzed these results.
