Who will broadcast the French Ligue 1 championship next season? Less than two months before the resumption of the championship, no broadcaster has been found by the Professional Football League (LFP).

If a solution seems to be emerging more and more, that of the creation of a channel launched by the LFP itself, candidates wish to obtain the rights, but they are rare.

DAZN revises its offer downwards

In recent days, the DAZN group has shown itself keen to acquire the rights to Ligue 1. It even made an oral offer worth 400 million euros to the League last week, indicates The Team . But the latter refused, considering the offer too unsatisfactory. Above all, the streaming service lowered its offer by 100 million euros compared to that made a few months ago.

The LFP is holding its board of directors meeting this Friday, June 21. Maybe a broadcaster will come forward by then. In any case, the LFP is moving forward with its aim of creating its own channel, and seems to have already reached an agreement with seven operators: Free, Bouygues, SFR, Orange, Amazon Prime, Molotov Tv and Google TV. Enough to avoid the predicted debacle?
