From 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m., around 90 firefighters were mobilized to put out the fire.

It was complicated because the fire started under the roof. With the old beams, we had to treat everything because fire can circulate in the beam.

Once the fire was completely extinguished, firefighters remained on site for part of the night to monitor hot spots and carry out clearing, to ensure that no area could restart the fire.

During the intervention, two of them were slightly injured, bothered by the smoke and the heat. The medical team present on site was able to take care of them quickly before sending them back to the barracks to rest. According to Sdis 66, “Today they are doing well.”

At this time, the origin of the fire is not known.
