Enthusiasts from all over the world come to see a full-size Godzilla. More than 200,000 visitors have already visited Tokyo Night & Light, the largest architectural projection show in the world!Content in the Japanese “Ukiyo” style is also presented.

In metropolitan Tokyo, the TOKYO Night & Light architectural projection show uses the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Main Building No. 1, a landmark in the city, as a canvas to present colorful works of art with sound and light. The show is presented every evening throughout the year, offering a new tourist resource that lights up the Tokyo night.

This project has been recognized by Guinness World Records™ as the largest (permanent) architectural projection and has already attracted more than 200,000 visitors in the three months since the show launched on February 25, 2024.

On weekends and holidays, the show shows the work “Godzilla: Attack on Tokyo” featuring Godzilla, who celebrates his 70th birthday this year! The powerful 100-meter-high Godzilla from the VS series films is projected in life-size scale on the wall of the Metropolitan Government Building, and his titanic fight with the new anti-Godzilla weapon “Modified Super X2” is not to be missed.

The show also features “Ukiyo,” Japanese-style content inspired by Ukiyo-e paintings. Ukiyo-e paintings are works of art created during the Edo period (1603-1868) and depict various aspects of daily life with bright, delicate colors. The term “ukiyo” itself refers to an ever-changing world. The use of visuals generated by AI learning and CAD from the show’s creators helped launch a bridge between the world of Ukiyo-e paintings and contemporary pop culture.

Come discover this architectural projection show which presents a part of Japanese culture on the largest canvas in the world.
