Rouen. Bus and metro ticket prices are increasing: we tell you when and how much

This was announced during the council of the Métropole de Rouen (Seine-Maritime) on June 17, 2024. There will be changes in the price list for bus tickets from the Astuce Network. Changes which will take place for the month of September 2023.

In detail, the Astuce Network hopes to generate additional 750,000 euros additional revenue over a full year. This equates to a 2.5% increase in revenue. “This amount is much lower than the impact of inflation on Astuce Network’s expenses, estimated at 2.3 million euros,” specifies the council.

Prices that are moving (a little) upwards

With the – notable – exception of the single ticket, all prices will increase. If the price of this first is maintained at 1.80 euros. THE book of ten tickets goes from 15.30 to 15.80 euros. The 24-hour ticket has increased by 20 cents and therefore goes from 5.70 to 5.90 euros.

Subscriptions will also increase. The monthly rate goes from 58 euros to 60 euros while the annual rate will be increased by 18 euros. Which corresponds to a sum of 536 euros.

So-called youth and social rates will also see increases.

“We made the choice toincrease by one year the age groups that can benefit from the youth title under 17 years old,” specifies the vice-president of transport, Cyrille Moreau. Thus, young people aged 17 years and 11 months will be able to benefit from these more advantageous rates. “The loss of revenue linked to this measure is estimated at 425,000 euros per year,” specifies the metropolis.
