JAKARTA – PT PGN Tbk, as the gas sub-holding of PT Pertamina (Persero), ensures the availability and distribution of natural gas for the community in safe conditions during holidays and holidays with Iduladha 1445 H.
PGN Commercial Director Ratih Esti Prihatini in a statement in Jakarta, Monday, June 18, said that PGN, in collaboration with all its subsidiaries and subsidiaries, maintains the safety of natural gas both pipes and non-pipes , as well as all its supporting services and infrastructure.
According to him, during the Eid al-Adha holiday period, he ensured that there was sufficient supply of natural gas to meet the needs of PGN’s customers, both households, small/MSME customers, power plants, industrial and commercial, and transportation in various regions.
The safety and feasibility of natural gas infrastructure is also maintained so that the transportation of gas from supply sources and the distribution of natural gas to customers are not hindered.
Currently, the number of household customers reaches 823,741 domestic connections (SR) and is distributed in 73 cities/regencies in 17 provinces.
Meanwhile, for industrial and commercial customers, PGN serves up to 3,133 customers and 1,987 small/MSME customers.
For supply, PGN currently extends to 858 BBTUD, which is safely channeled to meet customer needs.
“Pertamina GPL subholding gas guarantees distribution reliability to support the activities of household and small customers celebrating Eid al-Adha. Natural gas service is on standby 24 hours a day in case of constraints on the use of natural gas. We also maintain the safety of gas distribution for commercial industrial operations, power plants and transportation,” Ratih said as quoted by Antara.
PGN uses supplies from various sources and is operated using actively used infrastructure, namely 13,005 km of pipeline, 13 SPBG, 4 MRU and 3 LPG terminals.
Natural gas distribution activities to customers are currently in a safe state in the regions of Sumatra, Java, Bali, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and eastern Indonesia.
“Pertamina GPL subholding gas has a 24-hour team and continues to coordinate also with Pertamina as oil exploitation linked to security of supply and gas distribution. The team is also on standby so that if there is any potential disruption it can be dealt with immediately,” explained Ratih.
He continued that the gas complaint number has now been integrated into the Pertamina Call Center at number 135.
The service is active 24 hours a day to be contacted when the customer and the public need help. In addition, the public can also contact the nearest sales area.
