The first round of the 2024 legislative elections takes place on Sunday June 30. Loire-Atlantique has ten constituencies. Here are the candidates for each of them.

In the European elections of June 9, theThe RN list, led by Jordan Bardella, came in first position in Loire-Atlantique with 22.75% of the votes. A result, however, below the national score.

Note that the RN list won 48.2% of the votes in Juigné-les-Moutiers, in the north of the department.

The PS – Public Place list led by Raphaël Glucksmann received 19.41% of the votes. Valérie Hayer, the presidential majority candidate, obtained 16.41% of the votes.

Next come the Europe ecology lists – The Greens (9.18%), La France insoumise (8.97%), The Republicans (7.51% of the vote), La France Fière (4.40%).

In Loire-Atlantique, the outgoing deputies are almost all representing themselves.

The department has 1,072,000 voters.
For these 2024 legislative elections, 63 candidates are running in the 10 constituencies.

1st constituency

Mounir Belhamiti of the presidential majority, announced that he would run again in the wake of the presidential decision to dissolve the National Assembly.

Facing him, the RN candidate, Bryan Pecqueur, already a candidate in 2022.

The first secretary of the socialist federation of the department, Karim Benbrahim was invested by the New Popular Front.

Hélène Defrance will be the Lutte Ouvrière candidate. A fifth candidate presents itself, Betty Collober.

2nd district

Andy Kerbrat, outgoing MP, is running under the label of the new Popular Front. Nolwenn Crétté will be the RN candidate in this constituency and Nicolas Bazille, the Lutte Ouvrière candidate.

3rd district

Sophie Van Goethem, elected from the Nantes opposition, is running again. She is supported by LR.

4th district

LMP Julie Laernoes, environmentalist deputy at Nantes town hall and vice-president of the metropolis, is the candidate of the new Popular Front.

Gaëlle Pineau is the candidate of the National Rally, as in 2022.

Aude Amadou, elected in 2017, defeated in 2022, is invested by Renaissance.

Astrid Lusson was invested by LR, Stéphane Pellegrini by Lutte Ouvrière. Mattis Gauvin and François Olléon are also on the list of candidates.

5th district

Four candidates are seeking a mandate in the 5th constituency.

Lhe outgoing MoDem MP Sarah El Hairy, the Minister Delegate in charge of Children, Youth and Families, is a candidate to succeed him.

Fabrice Roussel, the PS mayor of La Chapelle-sur-Erdre, was invested by the new popular front.

6th district

The Ecologist Jean-Claude Raux joined the new Popular Front for these anticipated legislative elections.

10th district

Outgoing Renaissance MP Sophie Errante is running again. “We will have to, collectively, raise our heads and fight our adversaries head-on,” she wrote in a press release on Monday June 10.

In front of her, the LFI, Maxime Viancin will represent the new popular front.

Stéphanie Cotrel is running for the RN.

Xavier Rineau will be the LR candidate, Bruno Chevalier, that of the Republican left.

Emmanuèle Gardair represents herself for Workers’ Struggle. Jacques Cousin is also a candidate.

The 2024 legislative elections will be held on June 30 and July 7.
