The Sarthe firefighters were called upon on the night of Sunday June 16 to Monday June 17, 2024 for four road accidents that occurred in the department. In total, eight people were slightly injured.

Three accidents in one hour
Emergency services were called for the first time at 10:49 p.m. for an accident vehicle in Oizé, at a place called La piece de l’aire. Two engines and 8 firefighters from the Cérans-Foulletourte barracks transported an injured person to the Le Mans hospital center.
At 11:16 p.m., another accident vehicle was reported in Pruillé-l’Éguillé, rue du Pont-de-l’Arche. 14 firefighters and four engines rushed to the scene to treat two injured people, transported to the Château-du-Loir hospital center.
Then at 11:37 p.m., eight Sarthe firefighters from La Ferté-Bernard went to a place called L’Archette, in their commune, for the accident of a single vehicle. An injured person was transported to the Nogent-le-Rotrou hospital center.

Four injured at the end of the night
A little before 5 a.m. this Monday, four people were injured in an accident that occurred in La Chapelle-d’Aligné, at a place called Le Tertre rouge. The 13 firefighters and four engines from Précigné, La Flèche and Bazouges-Cré-sur-Loir transported them to the Le Mans hospital center.
