Six ultra-fast charging stations for electric vehicles have just been created in the Masséna car park. An installation which is the result of a partnership between Indigo car parks and the company Electra, a French company created in 2021 and specializing in the rapid charging of electric vehicles.

“We are working on the parking lot of tomorrow with an electromobility approachindicates Pierre Bonnabaud, South East general manager at Indigo, present this Monday, June 24, during the inauguration. In our 12 parks in Nice, we already offer 160 classic charging stations.”

A full tank for around 25 euros

The specialty of the terminals installed in the heart of the city in the Masséna car park: they can provide 150 kilowatts.

“The recharge is then done in thirty minutescontinues the general director. With a price set at 0.49 euro cents per kW, that makes a full tank around 25 euros.”

Not to mention that the car park offers 40 minutes of parking for motorists who come to recharge their vehicles.

“We are banking on the diversification of parking activities, he elaborates. This is already the case with the washing station and the boxes for collecting packages.”

“Making joyful mobility”

The terminals are accessible to everyone, individuals and professionals. It is possible to reserve them online via the Electra application, or to do so directly on site. The same goes for payment.

“We have nearly 200 stations in France as well as in Europeannounces Aurélien de Meaux, co-founder of Electra. Our goal is to make mobility joyful and to show everyone that it is very simple. Without forgetting that it costs significantly less to travel with an electric vehicle than with a thermal one.”
