The images bear witness to the violence of the shock

Saturday morning, two cars collided on the Route des Carrières, in Ferques.
A major emergency response system was deployed to care for the victims. And the toll is very heavy: a five-year-old girl lost her life. She was in cardio-respiratory arrest when the firefighters arrived. After long minutes of massage, the emergency services managed to find a pulse, but the little girl was airlifted to Lille hospital with a life-threatening prognosis. She died there on arrival.
The extremely violent confrontation also left two people seriously injured: a 27-year-old woman who was in the car with the little girl, and a 64-year-old man, alone at the wheel of the second vehicle. Both are hospitalized as an absolute emergency. Finally, the collision also slightly injured a fourth person: an 11-year-old girl, who was treated at Boulogne hospital.
The gendarmerie, present on the scene, opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident. Unfortunately, this is not the first time that a tragedy has occurred on this road. In 2016, a woman and her daughter were killed in a collision with a heavy goods vehicle in Réty.
