The segment was highly anticipated and created controversy before it even began. Sunday evening at Everyone is talking about itthe journalist Simon Coutu, the entrepreneur and masculinist influencer Julien Bournival and the political science professor Francis Dupuis-Déri were invited on the sidelines of the release of the documentary Alphas.

Friday, Everyone is talking about it had announced that it would also welcome the co-host of the Lucide podcast, Joël McGuirk, but given the mobilization of Internet users, he was disinvited in a hurry a few hours before the start of the show.
Sunday evening, Julien Bournival was therefore the only representative of his movement during the twenty-minute interview.
The man who calls himself a libertarian and defender of traditional values posed himself as a victim from the first question, deploring that he had been associated with a movement because he had participated in a podcast.
“It seems that you are surprised to be in this documentary when there were cameras in your home,” said Véronique Cloutier, present on the set.
The one who claims not to be against equality has, among other things, declared that “man is the last bastion that stands between tyranny and freedom. The man is the one who goes into battle to protect his wife, his homeland, his country.”
The interview obviously caused a lot of reaction on social networks.
